Populäre katalanische Tänze - Workshop

In this workshop with Maria Sillero Planas you will learn popular dances as they are danced at parties and celebrations in Catalonia. No previous knowledge is required, just the desire to try them out!

We will try the following dances: Ball pla, a dance common in many villages and towns, Ballet de Folgueroles, bolangera, typical of Manresa, a Sardana corta, a simple and popular form of Sardana, and a Jota from the Balearic Islands.

In cooperation with the Representation of the Government of Catalonia in Germany.
Weather permitting, the workshop will take place in the MEK garden. Participation free of charge. No registration required.
