From the end of September, the second floor of the Kulturhaus Schwanen will become a drawing area between reality, abstraction and attitude. The exhibition "POTpourri" shows new works by Heilbronn draughtsman and designer Till Vogel and opens on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 7 pm on the second floor with a short artist talk.
Free admission.

With "POTpourri", the Kulturhaus Schwanen is showing an exhibition that sees drawing not as a sketch, but as an attitude. Till Vogel, designer and self-taught draughtsman, combines everyday aesthetics with surreal perspectives - somewhere between comic, Dada, interior design and critical playfulness.

Between sketchbook and social image
Till Vogel works with ballpoint pen, pencil, acrylic and watercolor - reduced in the choice of means, maximum in expression. His pictures do not follow a fixed theme, but they touch on many: Body images, perception, identity, formal relationships, ruptures.
In an age in which everything should be readable and categorizable, Vogel's works remain deliberately ambiguous. They refuse to be unambiguous and instead invite us to take a closer look - or to associate freely.

Form instead of phrase
Instead of bold motifs: vibrating lines. Instead of explanatory texts: empty spaces with attitude. Vogel thinks in fragments - and it is precisely this that makes his pictures suitable for a society in which clarity is often only a pretense. His visual worlds are like alternative architectural designs for mental spaces: you can look inside, but you can't live there.
