Roger Bernat (Barcelona)
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Pina Bausch's groundbreaking choreography, the Potsdam Dance Days invite you to this unique, immersive piece. The audience will experience a very special opportunity to find themselves in the middle of the choreography.
Combining theater, dance, performance and workshop, Roger Bernat's production is a thrill with its astonishing intensity and gripping power. Equipped with headphones, the audience listens to the music. Suddenly, some turn away resolutely, walk to a table, others move to a new location, while still others simply observe. Together, they bring Pina Bausch's legendary choreography from 1975 back to life. The proximity of the music, the immediate presence of the action and the constant decision to follow the instructions or to sit back and watch open up a whole new perspective on the "Sacre". A collective dance dream and a true springtime offering.
