The French scientist Professor Aronnax, his servant Conseil and the Canadian harpooner Ned Land are commissioned by the American government to set sail on the frigate Abraham Lincoln. They are to find out what strange sea monster is wreaking havoc in the depths of the sea and repeatedly sinking ships. During their encounter with the mysterious beast, the three of them go overboard and save themselves on the back of the sea monster, which turns out to be a submarine. After they get inside the Nautilus submarine, they meet the mysterious Captain Nemo. A fantastic journey through the depths of the sea begins.
