Alice lies awake in her room. She should really be asleep by now. But she has too much (or too many?) things on her mind. When Alice finally falls asleep, we follow her into a crazy half-world. In her dream, Alice finds herself in the wildest teen movie clichés, people from her real life join her and mix with the familiar characters from Alice in Wonderland. Crazy!

In our Alice in Wonderland adaptation, theater maker Felix Scheer has interwoven classic teen comedy motifs with the characters and existential questions from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland . We are certain: Alice is a teenager. She experiences a confused dream in which experiences and people from her life, situations from high school films and characters such as the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts, the Mad Hatter, the Caterpillar and the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland are mixed together. The whole thing is rounded off with lots of music, which Alice plays in her teenage room with her dreams. The narrative levels merge into a round dance between dreams and nightmares.
