Sometimes a band story begins quite inconspicuously: a few like-minded people, a garage and an amplifier that is definitely turned up too loud. That's how it was with Press Club - today they have established a firm place for themselves in the scene and are far more than just an insider tip. Singer Natalie Foster, guitarist Greg Rietwyk, bassist Iain Macrae and drummer Frank Lee met in 2016 through a mutual circle of friends and quickly realized how much fun they had playing jam sessions and concerts together. They threw themselves into the vibrant music scene in their hometown of Melbourne and played over 100 shows in the first year alone. With their debut album "Late Teens", they attracted attention far beyond Australia in 2018. The special blend of their boisterous sound, the emotional depth of the lyrics and Nat's unmistakable voice delighted fans all over the world. Their second album "Wasted Energy" not only brought them a place in the Australian top 100 album charts in 2019, but also their first international concerts. After a break due to the pandemic, they returned in 2022 with "Endless Motion" - with a more mature sound, but without any loss of intensity. Their fourth studio album "To All The Ones That I Love" will be released in May this year: In it, Press Club deal with change, self-discovery and the search for belonging - themes that are reflected in dynamic melodies and intense lyrics. The singles released so far leave no doubt that it will be their best work to date.
What makes Press Club's concerts special is their unbridled energy. Natalie Foster is a front woman who never stands still - she gives her all, jumps into the audience and creates a direct connection with the fans. Supported by the perfectly attuned band, an atmosphere is created that sweeps everyone in the room away. Anyone in the mood for an energetic, loud and unforgettable evening: This summer, Press Club will be celebrating the release of their album with an extensive Australian and European tour, including a stop in Germany.
