In the organizer's words:

Islington, London, 1967, in a small apartment: Kenneth Halliwell is eagerly awaiting the return of Joe Orton, who walks in late, wearing a fancy new coat. Joe is on a high: his new play is sold out, he has just sold the film rights and is getting offers everywhere. Kenneth is deeply unhappy, has trouble selling collages to friends and bitterly identifies himself as his lover's "personal assistant". The once loving relationship mutates into a toxic relationship full of jealousy and dependency. A drama based on a true story, starring the then very young actors Alfred Molina and Gary Oldman.
