"Pride93" oyunu Türkiye'deki ilk Onur yürüyüşünü ve LGBTİ+ örgütlenmesinin doğuşunu, dönemin toplumsal olayları ve eğlence anlayışıyla birlikte sahneye taşıyor. Oyun, Siyah Pembe Üçgen Derneği'nin "90'larda Lubunya Olmak" adlı sözlü tarih projesindeki gerçek hikayelerden ve tanıklıklardan faydalanarak 90'ların sessizliğini bozup Lubunya hareketini saygıyla selamlıyor. Pride93, altı farklı karakterin anlattığı altı farklı hikâye ile aslında biricik olanın bir araya geldiğinde nasıl da kocaman bir güce dönüştüğünü hatırlatıyor. Verilen onca mücadelenin ardından artık bütün lubunyalar biliyor ki; tanışmasa da birbirine aşina olan kimse artık yalnız yürümeyecekler...

The play "Pride93" brings the first Pride parade in Turkey and the emergence of the LGBTIQ+ movement together with the social events of the era and the understanding of entertainment at the time to the stage. The play uses true stories and testimonies from the oral history project "Being Queer in the 90s" by the organization "Siyah Pembe Üçgen" to break the silence of the 90s and salute the LGBTIQ+ movement with respect. With six different stories told by six different characters, "Pride93" is a reminder of how uniqueness, when it comes together, becomes a powerful force. After all the battles fought, all queens now know that no one who may not know each other personally, but is familiar with each other, will ever walk alone again...
