PULSE KOLLAB#5: Ángeles Rojas

In the organizer's words:

PULSE is a progressive string quartet. We allow new musical ideas to flow freely across all genres and boundaries. In collaborations and with the use of electronics, we open up worlds of sound that would otherwise be inaccessible to a string quartet.

For KOLLAB#5 we are creating a set together with the sound artist and composer Ángeles Rojas (Argentina/Berlin). Strings, shruti box, effects, drones and ambient combine with the interior design to create a total work of art. Before that, PULSE will play a solo set with music by Caleb Burhans and JLIN, among others. In between, before and after: DJ Anders Wasserfall.
