Punkt Punkt Komma Strich

In the organizer's words:

A new theater production for young people aged four and up is being created from artistic and conceptual research with Punkt Punkt Komma Strich. Our players Arne van Dorsten and Anna Lehotská use materials, colors and shapes, bodies and dance to approach very different gestures and feelings, pictorial spaces and plays of color. When is a face created? How can faces be read? And what happens when individual elements are quickly removed again or dance out of line? These are the initial questions of our exploratory and playful approach, which explores the interface between theater, dance and the visual arts. Director Lara Kaiser and set designer Cornelius Reitmayr were inspired by the extensive collection and the abstract and sketchy heads of Alexej von Jawlensky in the Gunzenhauser Museum. The result is a piece for one line, one triangle, one rectangle, two circles, two halves and three tripods, which invites you to discover your own images and scenes in the interplay of shapes and colors. Because everything is ready here, looking for a new order and is constantly being mixed up. And along the way, a lively story emerges from the shapes and arrangements!

Punkt Punkt Komma Strich runs from October 2024 on the puppet theater stage and will also be shown on the road: in daycare centers or elementary school as well as in the Gunzenhauser Museum. The performances in the museum are aimed at both groups and families and will be combined with an epilogue during the week.
