»Purple Police« – Konzert mit vertrauten Songs aus Pop und Soul

In the organizer's words:

Admission: from 17:45

Purple Police, a band from the neighborhood, plays at Ulme35 and catapults you into the weekend with fun music and hot rhythms.

With soul and pop songs, funk and rock songs, with rough, deep and enthusiastic sounds, the band takes us back in time. Songs from the 70s to current songs are adapted by the musicians and played with their very own arrangements. The line-up also brings slightly jazzy elements into play. In between there are thoughtful and funny little stories about the lyrics and songwriters.

The group consists of Michael 'Bidi' Setz on electric guitar and vocals, Gerhard Falkenberg on acoustic guitar and vocals and Dimo Wendt on percussion. Guests are Klaus Axenkopf on bass and Thomas Zwerger on saxophone and flute.

We don't charge admission. But at the end we will pass a hat around to collect money for the band. If you can donate something at the end, the band will be delighted.
