A long time ago, he once said in an interview that he had no intention of becoming an ageing pop clown. He has succeeded brilliantly! In over 50 years on stage, which PURPLE SCHULZ can look back on today, he has become one of the country's most exciting musical storytellers, a singer-songwriter who has simply taken his many great pop hits on a journey, who has added an astonishing depth to his skills as an entertainer and can therefore depict the wholeness of life in his concerts today like hardly anyone else. With laughter and tears, love and anger, with deliciously silly lowlifes and philosophical flights of fancy, with gentle consolation and razor-sharp criticism: this is how he sings about life and survival at the turn of the century.

Of course he will play the big hits at the concerts, because they have played a decisive role in his survival as a celebrated concert artist. But some people will be amazed because PURPLE SCHULZ in 2025 will dress up even the popular hits musically in such a way that they look absolutely perfect on him today. In addition to the piano, the use of his 24-string harp, which allows us to rediscover familiar songs with its fantastic soundscapes, also plays a significant part in this.
