Join us for an exciting weekend as we celebrate the Year of the Quantum 2025!

The year 2025 has been declared the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ) by UNESCO, in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the first formulation of quantum mechanics. Celebrate these fascinating discoveries with us in an exciting event at the Deutsches Museum.

What can you expect?

• Guided tours for young and old through the special exhibition "Light & Matter"
• Lectures - from quantum communication to everyday research
• Live show "Alice in Quantum Land" for children aged 6 and over
• Hands-on stations with games and demonstration experiments

The event is open to all guests of the Deutsches Museum (an admission ticket is required). Registration is only required for the guided tours at www.mcqst.de/quantenwochenende

The event is organized by the Cluster of Excellence "Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology" of LMU and TUM in cooperation with the Deutsches Museum. PhotonLab, Munich Quantum Valley, PushQuantum, and the Quanten(t)räume project are also part of the event.
