At the "Quatsch Comedy Club", Germany's best-known stand-up comedy show, a presenter and four different comedians regularly provide plenty of laughs and an unforgettable evening. Comedy as it should be - uncensored, up close and above all live!

The Quatsch Comedy Club came into being on January 31, 1992, when Thomas Hermanns, who was born in Bochum and studied theater studies, brought together a small group of crazy people in the canteen of the Hamburg Schauspielhaus to form the "first German live club for innovative comedy".

This was followed by a move from Hamburg to Berlin, when Hermanns was offered the so-called "Kleine Revue" in the basement of the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin for rent in 2002. Today, in addition to the shows in the Kleine Revue in Berlin, events are also held in cities such as Hamburg, Stuttgart, Munich and Mönchengladbach.

As the "mother of German stand-up comedy", Thomas Hermanns has laid the foundations for many great comedians. Whether Carolin Kebekus, Ilka Bessin or Lisa Feller, whether Bülent Ceylan, Johann König or Felix Lobrecht - they all have one thing in common: they have either performed in front of the Q at the Quatsch Comedy Club or on television.

In the "Live Show" at the Quatsch Comedy Club, guests encounter a fun quartet of a presenter and four different club comedians. Comedy legends and newcomers share the mic here. With a constantly changing line-up, we present our guests with new gags every week. The recipe for success for over 30 years: The colorful bag of humor.
