In movements such as the Movimiento de Mujeres y Diversidades Indígenas por el Buen Vivir and Ni Una Menos... or in symbols such as a green cloth for the right to legal, safe and free abortion, a decolonial feminism dedicated to the struggle against cis-heteronormative patriarchy in Latin America and the Caribbean is evident.

Ongoing economic crises as well as machista and infrastructural violence against feminized BPoC bodies drive the diasporic movements and knowledge productions present in this anthology. Based on reflections by Latin American and Caribbean authors on cultural and artistic approaches, the contributions show the transversality of feminist practices in a wide variety of ways. The book brings together decolonial, counter-patriarchal ideas and diasporic knowledge of feminized bodies and draws an alternative geography of queer-feminist militancy, political activism and transnational alliances.

KATYA MEYER, Chilean social worker, lives, studies and works in Berlin; interested in decolonial movements and knowledge produced outside the spheres of power.

VERÓNICA ORSI, curator, writer and lecturer; works in the fields of critical museum studies, feminist organizing around feminicide and (non-)reproductive justice, activism and political resistance practices.
