We present the Drag Story Hour in the Pelmke! You want your children to read? You want your children to love themselves (and others!) for who they are? You want to promote diversity? Then Drag Story Hour is just the thing for you!

A drag king or drag queen reading stories is a fun way to teach children to enjoy reading while helping them celebrate not only their own uniqueness, but also the uniqueness of others. Drag Story Hour is about acceptance in general.

Be it queer people, people with disabilities and people from other ethnic or socio-economic backgrounds. Drag Story Hour was launched in San Francisco in 2015 by author and activist Michelle Tea to encourage children to read and accept their individuality.
