"QueerBLICK": LOVE & REVOLUTION

Seville, 1977: Young Miguel is the first member of his family to go to university, but his real passion is music. The singing competition at the local travesty club comes at just the right time. This could be his chance to get a little closer to his true dream. But homosexuality is a strict taboo in the Spanish south of the 1970s. The deeper Miguel immerses himself in this dazzling new world, the more at home he feels - until he is arrested in a raid and charged. His widowed mother Reme is deeply shocked when she finds out. After all, Miguel is her pride and joy. But she takes up the fight for her son's freedom and receives help from his new friends.
