Queere Düsseldorfer Perspektiven

The Kulturetten show art and culture in the reinraum

The Kulturetten are using the Culture Club's summer break to present an exhibition together with queer artists. With Inka Wilhelm and Tatzi , they have succeeded in presenting two queer-feminist artistic positions centrally in the interdisciplinary exhibition. Martin Bühren is taking part with photographs on queer activism. The artists Nastasia Radtke and Bernd Plöger are contributing further works of their own.

Memorabilia from 50 years of queer Düsseldorf scene life, art and culture will be brought into a contemporary focus through collaboration with the city archive of the state capital Düsseldorf. Lectures and presentations on queer topics, community gatherings ("Café Clutch") and a pre-CSD party round off the exhibition.
