Lucia-Philtje Gerst "Penguin Apocalypse"

Breaking with outdated narrative patterns - that is the goal of young queer writer Lucia-Philtje Gerst. How fortunate that one day a penguin from the literary marketing company turned up on her doorstep to offer his help. Lucia-Philtje Gerst tells the story of how successfully this collaboration works in excerpts from her novel"Penguin Apocalypse" and other, partly unpublished short stories.

Mikah Rose "Jonah is a boy"

Mikah Goy (he/him) was born in 1997 in Wendland, Lower Saxony, and is an autistic, transgender author who writes under the pseudonym Mikah Rose. In 2023, he self-published "Jonah is a Boy" - the heartwarming and heartbreaking story of a boy who is not allowed to grow up as a boy.
