We know of the relative freedom of movement in ancient Greece and of the repression of homosexual/queer lifestyles in modern-day Russia and numerous other countries. But where do prejudices come from that are still effective today? And how has queer life developed in Cologne over the centuries? The tour with Thomas Freund on April 30 gives an insight into the highs and lows of queer life in Cologne, tells of oppression and striving for social recognition, of successes and setbacks.
