Queers in den Medien: Von Reality-TV bis Arthouse-Film

Queer perspectives are not only found on stage, but also in the media. On social media platforms, queer content creators provide entertaining information and a space for identification, while streaming platforms feature films and series not only with queer protagonists, but also produced by people from the community. In this talk, three content creators come together and not only give insights into their lives and work, but also provide numerous film and series tips as well as hot takes on current debates. The speakers are: Lena Liebig (@lenaliebig), who gives queer movie, series and book recommendations on her social media accounts, Josimelonie (@josimelonie), trans activist and contributor to numerous TV formats, and Leonie, who educates as @frauloewenherz.de on her Instagram account and is always involved in political debates.
