THE QUEEN KINGS take you into the world of Freddie Mercury and Queen and offer a rousing show with the most beautiful songs of the legendary English supergroup! For their show, the musicians of THE QUEEN KINGS have been inspired by the film "Bohemian Rhapsody" and, in addition to the greatest hits, will also perform the legendary set with which Queen thrilled tens of thousands of spectators at the live-aid concert in London's Wembley Stadium, as well as millions of viewers of the worldwide broadcast. You can also look forward to all the other songs featured in the film, performed 100% live by THE QUEEN KINGS musicians.
The band around lead singer Sascha Krebs has been touring Germany and Europe for many years and is considered one of the best Queen tribute bands around. Musicians from the band have already worked with Brian May and Roger Taylor from Queen and were also part of the musical "We Will Rock You". In their show, they perfectly capture the sound and spirit of Queen and inspire with their great passion.
THE QUEEN KINGS musicians include lead singer Sascha Krebs, who has the same vocal range as Freddie Mercury, and guitarist Drazen Zalac, who brings Brian May's distinctive sound back to life with the help of original equipment. Drummer Jan Wienstroer and bassist Rolf Sander are responsible for the sonic-volcano groove. Freddie Mercury's extravagant piano playing and full orchestral sounds are provided by Christof Wetter on keyboards. The sextet is completed by singer Susann de Bollier, who sings the fat choruses of the Queen songs - as in Bohemian Rhapsody - 100% live with the support of the voices of all band members. A special highlight in the spirit of Queen at a time when playbacks have found a permanent place in the music industry.
