Queer Culture Night

In the organizer's words:

With this year's Queer Culture Night, we want to show once again how diverse queer culture is and at the same time create visibility. The focus of the evening will be the preliminary round of our annual drag contest "Icon of CSD Leipzig", in which the best local drag artists will once again compete against each other for fame, honor and reach. In two rounds, a new Icon of CSD Leipzig will be crowned by jury and public voting. The final will then traditionally take place on the big stage at the street festival on June 28, 2025. All variations and varieties of drag will be given visibility and a stage. The program will be rounded off by various acts by queer artists.
You can look forward to our winners from previous years, among others: Athena Owls and part-time princess Linette. The event is also explicitly aimed at people who have had no previous contact with queer culture. We invite you to find out more and get your own impression.
