The HLTM always supports students from the Hessian Theater Academy (HTA). We are therefore hosting a guest performance directed by HTA graduate Redjep Hajder at Theater Ingolstadt to present the young director's work. RADIO SARAJEVO is an impressive stage adaptation of the novel of the same name by Tijan Sila. The world premiere took place on December 19, 2024 in the Studio im Herzogskasten.

The play tells the story of ten-year-old Tijan at the beginning of the siege of Sarajevo. It depicts his challenges of growing up in the midst of war and sheds light on the personal stories behind the historical events. The production offers a subtle yet brutal tale of growing up in wartime.
