Radreisevortrag: 12.000 Kilometer allein durch Europa, Marokko und die Türkei

In August 2022, Rieke Schmees cycled south from her parents' home in Emsdetten, North Rhine-Westphalia, without a plan. She first crossed Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal before crossing over to Morocco, where she spent four months exploring the country by bike. She then took the ferry from Morocco back to Genoa and continued her journey, cycling through Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria and Turkey. In total, she cycled over 12,000 kilometers in 16 different countries, experiencing incredible hospitality, freedom and gaining exciting insights into what is possible when you have the courage to push yourself to your limits - alone, as a woman.
