Ralf König, Comic-Lesung

In the organizer's words:

As part of our annual cooperation with caricatura Kassel, we have a very special guest this year: Ralf König is not just a comic artist, author and illustrator - he is one of the most important representatives of the gay movement in our country. Inspired by Rosa von Praunheim's sex and career to publicly admit his sexuality, he made it his mission from then on to point out grievances, criticize, provoke, but above all to amuse. His work now comprises over 50 comic books and albums, and the titles Condom of Horror, Lysistrata and Like Rabbits have been adapted for the movies. Everyone is probably familiar with the comic and its film adaptation The Moving Man.

We are all the more proud to be able to present it for a comic reading in our tent. Under the modest title The King Reads, the People Shall Listen, we will reverently follow him and his gay bulbous noses with a colorful bouquet of delicate short stories.

The concert is seated.
