Ralph Heidel is a composer, arranger, producer, sound researcher and multi-instrumentalist who has worked with artists such as Apsilon, Bazzazian, Casper, Jungstötter, Tristan Brusch and Lisa Morgenstern, as well as for the Berliner Ensemble and the Nationaltheater Mannheim, while also writing commissioned classical compositions. His music combines organic and electronic soundscapes - from neoclassical string quartets, bedroom pop and nujazz to chamber music and futuristic beats. His current, third album anyways.onto better things is probably his most intimate, personal work. With piano, synthesizers and saxophone, he creates emotional soundscapes live.
