Following individual performances of the production"Offene Wunde", the discussion series "Racism and right-wing violence" will take place in cooperation with the city's specialist department for democracy. It is aimed at the audience of the play as well as all interested parties.

The fourth edition is dedicated to the increasing importance of right-wing structures on the internet and in the gaming scene. On social networks and in video game chat groups, young people in particular are increasingly confronted with conspiracy ideologies and inhumane statements. The mostly unhindered and undetected spread of digital right-wing extremism plays a major role in the radicalization of minors. For example, the Munich attacker networked with the New Mexico attacker on the online gaming platform Steam without the authorities intervening. In this interview, experts on right-wing extremism online Karolin Schwarz and Mick Prinz shed light on the effects of hate speech and disinformation in online communities and possible strategies against organized right-wing structures in the digital space.

Karolin Schwarz is an author, journalist and expert on the significance of digital right-wing terrorist networks. Her book "Hasskrieger: Der neue globale Rechtsextremismus" was published in February 2020.

Mick Prinz has worked in the digital department of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation since 2017. Since 2020, he has been leading the project "Good Gaming - Well played Democracy", which deals with racism and anti-Semitism in online games.
