A huge boxing ring moves through the room and we are right in the middle of it. Three animals are preparing for a fighting tournament and take us along to the circuit training and the punching bag. Are those boxing gloves we're wearing or pillows? Which animal do you become when you fight? How do we move to the beat of the fighting sounds - hu, ha, his? Why is it an advantage to wear big feathers to wrestle? And what is your favorite feeling when wrestling? We love to fight, wrestle and tussle. Fighting plays an important role in our everyday lives. Tussling is fun, hurting each other is not. And we ask ourselves, what are the prerequisites for a euphoric fun fight?
RAUFKREISEN deals with the topic of fighting as an experience of strength and weakness, boundaries and crossing boundaries, as well as consensus and retreat. Together with our audience, we want to determine how we want to fight, explore what is fun about fighting and how we take care of ourselves and our fighting partners verbally and non-verbally. We ask ourselves: Which children are cheered on when they fight? Who is perceived as aggressive and who tends to be encouraged? And what role do gender and racism play in this? For whom does it mean something to empower themselves and no longer put up with everything? Let's develop a Rauf utopia together!
