With "Wunderbild", Katharina Grosse transforms the 3,000 square meter hall for contemporary art into an expansive ensemble of painting, sculpture, architecture and sound - an immersive experience of color and sound.

Katharina Grosse (born 1961 in Freiburg/Breisgau, Germany) has been internationally present in the art world for more than 25 years. She is best known for her overwhelming painting installations. Her works explore the presence of color and reality and explore the question of what it means to experience art directly and to make painting physically tangible.
