The Raygun Cowboys are a horn-heavy punk rockabilly band that originated in the best dives and back alleys of Edmonton, AB. The 6-piece band with 50's influences plays energetic rockabilly with punk and rock'n'roll elements that gets people on the dance floor from the first song to the last.

Formed in 2000, the Cowboys began playing local shows and quickly became the band of choice to support touring bands in Western Canada. Shortly thereafter, the band hit the road, touring coast to coast several times to bring their psych-juke jive to a large fan base across the country. In 2007, the traditional three-piece rockabilly lineup was augmented by horn players Nate Connolly, Mike Johnson and currently Jonny McCormack, Zach Semanuik and Mike Androschuck. The Cowboys have released five studio albums, the most recent being 2019's "Bloodied But Unbroken." Following the release of "Cowboy Code," original members Derek Thiesen and Oakland Valleau left the group to focus on family and other projects, while Jon Christopherson (vox/guitar) remained constant on tour with the addition of Brett Reid on drums and Aaron (Zerk) Naveau on upright bass. In recent years (minus a pandemic), Raygun Cowboys have toured Europe and Canada several times with friends The Real McKenzies, The Dreadnoughts and Canadian punk legends DOA.

This year the band finally finished recording their upcoming Stomp Records release "Bloodied but Unbroken". 10 massive tracks that will have you on the edge of your seat and keep you coming back for more. Keep your ears peeled, new Raygun Cowboys are on the way!
