Reading Party

In the organizer's words:

Find time to read in a cozy atmosphere and get to know other reading fans at the same time - this is what Reading Parties offer. The Oldenbook Collective has been organizing reading parties in Oldenburg since autumn 2024 and is a guest at the "With your back to the wall" exhibition for the June edition of the event.

Visitors to the parties bring their own books. In contrast to a book club, there is no set reading and discussion. Once they arrive at the venue, visitors can immerse themselves in quiet reading time with snacks and drinks, followed by a section for getting to know each other, chatting and exchanging ideas.

The Reading Party at the Werkschule Oldenburg will take place on June 1, 2025 from 3 pm. Registration for the event is possible via email(oldenbook@outlook.com) or Instagram (@oldenbook.readingparty). Participation is free of charge.
