REALTIME 2025 - INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL FOR NEW MUSIC BREMEN

International artists, innovative music and a variety of hands-on activities

From May 28 to June 1, 2025, the "realtime 2025 - international festival for new music bremen" invites you back to the Hanseatic city. With concerts, performances and hands-on activities, the festival offers a varied program over five days to explore the boundaries of reality, illusion and vision - this year's festival motto - and celebrate the diversity of contemporary music and art. The artists come from Bremen, Germany and the guest country Spain. Tickets and day passes for the "realtime-festival 2025" are available from the beginning of March via Nordwest Ticket or at the Box Office; tickets are available for 15.00 euros and reduced tickets for 12.00 euros for pupils, students and people with disabilities. It is important to the organizers that interested people have the opportunity to attend a concert and get to know new music. That is why each concert lasts only 45 minutes at affordable prices. The "realtime-festival" takes place every two years and brings the diversity of new music to Bremen. With concerts, electronics, improvisation, music theater and interactive performances, the audience has the opportunity to experience the innovative sound world of the present. Founded in 2012, the "realtime - forum neue musik" association aims to bring new music closer to a wide audience and to enable a lively engagement with this art form through formats such as discussion concerts and workshops. The association is also committed to promoting young talent: the youth ensemble "Smusic21" creates a framework for making music together. In cooperation with the Bremen Music School and committed sponsors, lessons, rooms and instruments are provided free of charge.
