Who is mourned? Who is remembered? Power relations and exclusion, for example of queer or poor people, have an impact beyond death. In Germany, there are more and more people for whom no relatives (can) carry out the burial obligation and who are buried by public authorities without a funeral service, gravestone or name. Francis Seeck, anti-discrimination trainer and professor of social work, presents his own book RECHT AUF TRAUER: It is about the connection between power and burial culture, but also about the history of the author and about resistance in anonymous cemetery meadows - very much in the spirit of "Rest in protest!".
