Something big is coming our way again! RED DONS from Portland (Oregon) are regularly on tour - but here in the Ruhr area? No way! Until now! We are delighted to welcome the band to the Hirsch-Q Dortmund.
The "Wipers of the 21st century" are the best that punk has produced in the last two decades. Their sound mixes great dark punk with post-punk and garage elements. Despite the melancholy nuances, there is always enough room for pop edges and lively, gripping melodies that are instantly catchy. Hit after hit!

Also in the program: KÜKEN from Hamburg! The acts in this country that would stylistically match the band's unique selling point RED DONS can probably be counted on one hand. KÜKEN, with their fast and extremely charged killed-by-death punk, are right at the forefront. In smashers averaging 1.5 minutes in length, they hammer out a stronger rock'n'roll edge, but could just as easily come from Portland instead of St. Pauli. Their reputation for intense and driving live performances, coupled with an unagitated no-bullshit show, precedes them.

And that's not all!
From Szeged in Hungary come KÁBELOK! The synth-punk trio brings together a playful lo-fi sound and raw energy. Originally founded as a birthday surprise, we can now also be surprised by this extraordinary special guest.
