A birthday party classic: well over 20 years ago, ZU GAST BEI W./ W. HILLER celebrated its premiere with us. Since then, the solo directed by Paula Artkamp has been a piece of Pumpenhaus history. Pitt Hartmann plays W. Hiller. A man who has lived in two centuries, in two systems - and between the sexes. Born as Walter, Hiller becomes a front-line soldier, later a milling cutter and family man in real existing socialism. At the age of 51, however, he swaps his overalls for a red dress - and lives as Walli. Finally with himself. No more hiding lace underwear under his uniform. Goodbye, false identity, attribution. Director Paula Artkamp has turned Hiller's life story into a theatrical feast. With Irish stew. Good red wine. And boundless hospitality. The table is set. Take a seat!
