Sven Regener? That's the singer of Element Of Crime! And Richard Pappik? Sure, he plays the drums for Element Of Crime. Didn't Ekki Busch also play accordion with the band from time to time? That's right. The three thoroughbred musicians have now recorded a jazz album together. Can that go well? Absolutely, because Regener Pappik Busch is not a side project of Element Of Crime, but with exactly one brass player the smallest brass band in Germany.

Long before Sven Regener became one of the most original songwriters and singers in the German-speaking world, he was already playing the trumpet. In Element Of Crime, he repeatedly flashed up small samples of it, but these interludes do not even begin to reveal the intensity with which he constantly seeks new challenges on his horn. In turn, it was only a matter of time before the trumpet demanded a more prominent place in the singer's output. The result of this pact is now "Ask Me Now".
