The documentary DEICHMANN - WEIL ICH ES KANN tells the extraordinary story of an almost unbelievable world record and how Jonas Deichmann gave the small Franconian town of Roth an unforgettable summer fairytale. From May 9 to September 5, 2024, Jonas Deichmann completed 120 Ironman distances in 120 days in Roth near Nuremberg - the greatest endurance feat ever achieved by a human being. Passionate amateur athlete and filmmaker Markus Henssler accompanied the "German Forest Gump" almost around the clock during his toughest challenge to date.

With impressive images and touching stories, the film shows how Jonas Deichmann pushes the boundaries of what is possible and motivates thousands of people to accompany and support him in his world record attempt.

Filmmaker Markus Henssler also got carried away during filming, completing a total of 10 Ironman distances, 3 of them in succession.

The film will be followed by a discussion with director Markus Henssler.
