Releaseparty "Memories in a Mural" - KHUMO Hot Soul & Funk

The Mannheim-based soul & funk band KHUMO cordially invites you to the release of their first album "Memories in a Mural". After the successful debut EP "On Our Side of the Earth", the band around the charismatic front woman Khumo Kluge from South Africa now presents their eagerly awaited first studio album.

Since its foundation in 2022, KHUMO has gained national attention with its rousing live performances and impressive successes - such as winning the BUGA23 and Nationaltheater Mannheim band contests. In 2024, they wowed audiences as headliners of the Mannheim City Festival and as part of the renowned Museumsuferfest in Frankfurt.

On February 21, 2025, the band will transform the Leitstelle in Heidelberg into a pulsating venue full of energy, emotion and rousing beats. Look forward to an unforgettable live performance of the new LP, supported by the first-class guest musicians Robert Prause on trumpet and Nils Nolte on flute, as well as the up-and-coming newcomer REENA with band as support act.
