René Kaspar - "Powermann"

He grew up in the heart of the Rhein-Sieg district, moved to Cologne Kalk a few years ago to study to become a teacher and has remained there on several levels. René Kaspar is now a substitute teacher, father and still studying. To cope with this triple burden, he has sought out a fourth - stand-up comedy - and moved to Cologne's Südstadt district.

On stage, he deals with his inner conflict between "I want to be a progressive guy who is listened to" and "I just want people to leave me alone, please" and talks about his eternal striving for a distinct life-life balance.

He caused a stir by winning the Mannheim Comedy Cup 2022, among other things, with the older audience through his appearance on WDR-Lokalzeit and with family and acquaintances through the conviction that his art can one day feed a family.
