ommer joy in Esslingen's Merkelpark! ☀️ Summer is just around the corner - and we can hardly wait to fill the beautiful, historic Merkelpark with life again! After last year's events smashdiggawyld and the premiere of Ab in ... Onkel Oskars Garten, we're going one better in cooperation with the Stadtjugendring Esslingen 2025:

You can look forward to a colorful series of events from mid-June to September! Instead of just one weekend, this year we're celebrating the summer flexibly and regardless of the weather, always during the opening hours of the pop-up bar fuenfbisneun:

The Feierabendkollektiv will be playing the Merkelpark every Sunday from July 6 from 5-7 pm with the finest summer singer-songwriter concerts.

You can expect a varied program in a relaxed park atmosphere.

Reni

A guitar and her voice, that's all Reni needs to create great emotions on stage and cast a spell over everyone. The singer-songwriter from Frankfurt am Main, who is in her early twenties, impresses with unpredictable lyrics in German and provides a deep insight into her emotional world through subtle imagery.

Reni began performing regularly in 2023 and has since won various song slams (e.g. in Heidelberg, Erfurt, Berlin) and "Kunst gegen Bares" (e.g. in Cologne, Düsseldorf, annual finale in Frankfurt) with her music. In May 2024, she took 1st place at the Wetzlar Street Music Festival and was awarded 1st place in the Dieter Wasilke Folk Promotion Prize. Reni has also been a guest at various event series, such as "Lagerfeuer Deluxe" in Cologne, the "Singer-Songwriter-Night" in Marburg and the "VirusMusikRadioShow" in Frankfurt, where she presented the full range of her music in longer sets. In September 2024, Reni played her first solo concert as part of the "Saitenklänge Sommerkonzerte unplugged" at Schloss Eulenbroich.
