RENN.arena MITTE 2025: "Brücken bauen in Zeiten der Spaltung – Nachhaltige Transformation gemeinsam gerecht gestalten"

In the organizer's words:

Our society is under tension: democratic foundations are under threat both internationally and in Germany. On the ground, in local communities, politics, companies, associations and in public, the conflicts surrounding the shaping of our future are becoming palpable and are putting us to the test. At their core, they concern issues of distributive justice, migration and integration, social recognition and the use and preservation of our ecological foundations of life.

With this RENN.arena, we are focusing on the causes and solutions to these tensions. We are exploring the questions of how we can build bridges, tackle social and economic inequalities together and shape a sustainable transformation in a socially just way.

The RENN.arena MITTE 2025 is aimed at representatives from local authorities, politics, administration, civil society, business and science and offers a cross-state exchange of experiences for activists from Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. Together, we can make the commitment to sustainable development more visible, provide new impetus and strengthen existing networks and alliances.

The hypotheses for a democratic and sustainable coexistence developed jointly during the event will be incorporated into the nationwide network conference of RENN e.V., the RENN.tage on June 16 and 17 in Berlin!
