Repairing instead of throwing away - now with clothing and bicycle repair

No tools, no idea, two left hands, no desire to work alone or simply never got around to it? Then the Repair Café Fürth is the right place for you! The Repair Café Fürth takes place every two months under the motto "Repairing instead of throwing away!". At this event, volunteer repairers help visitors to examine defects in electrical appliances they have brought along and, if possible, repair them together. Expert helpers and the necessary materials and tools are available on site for the repairs. All minor defects that can be repaired without the use of expensive spare parts and major effort will be repaired. Food and drink will also be provided - repairs will be carried out in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere with coffee and cake. From 1-5 p.m., visitors can drop by with electrical appliances to be repaired, such as lamps, toasters, hairdryers, computers and printers. The event is organized by the Fürth Volunteer Centre.

What would the best technology (whether electrical or bicycle technology) be without the right clothes? And if it has a hole or some other flaw: now there are also people who can tackle these problems with expertise and a sewing machine.
