Resilient Grounds – Ein Tanz im Exil / Resilient Grounds – A Dance in Exile

Resilient Grounds is a dance on shifting terrain made up of ruptures, memory, resilience and reinvention. Across physical distance, the artists explore the possibilities and opportunities of rehearsing together despite separation, insist on togetherness, assemble a future from fragments and find continuities in the midst of ruptures.

With installations and dance, five dancers take up questions, themes and aspects of Grupo Oito's previous works that have remained unresolved and will not let go. Like fragmented memories, they weave these parts into a common search for cohesion, resilience, visions of the future and spirituality - a dance between distance and hope.
