The history of German women's resistance against Hitler is best known for the symbolic figure of Sophie Scholl and the White Rose. But many other women resisted the National Socialist regime: lawyers, feminists, communists, aristocrats, members of the "Red Orchestra" and Protestant Christians. This book tells the equally unknown and extraordinary stories of nine female resistance fighters from different backgrounds who were united by a common goal: the fight against the Nazi regime.
