RESONANT CONVERSATION (Persia)

"Resonant Conversation" is an experimental music project that explores the concepts of subtlety and nuance in conversation through the use of microtonal tuning systems. During the performance, each instrument will be tuned to its own system drawn from the rich variety of microtonal tuning systems of Iran, and the players will first perform a 25-minute composed piece and then participate in a 30-minute structured electroacoustic improvisation using analog sound processing techniques.

This project offers composers, performers and audiences a new perspective on how nuances of emotion and meaning can be communicated in sound. The aim is to advance the practice of microtonal music in the Berlin music scene while providing a platform for intercultural exchange.
