RE:SONANZ – The valley below

In this picture cycle, the artist Gaby Bergmann explores the themes of resonance and dialectics. Hartmut Rosa and Theodor W. Adorno serve as the literary basis. Based on Hartmut Rosa's thinking, resonance is the connection of one's own frequencies with the vibrations of the outside world and of other people. The pictures communicate with the artist, herself, the world and the viewer.

The title "the valley below" describes the state or the search for the moment that draws, attracts, drives or motivates us from a deep level ... fed by intuition, curiosity or longing. For this purpose, a standing desk is positioned centrally in the exhibition. The standing desk serves as a writing surface for the viewer. The hope is to create a kind of "journaling" in written or drawn interaction.
