Ressource, Research, Reset Finissage mit Performance

In the organizer's words:

On Thursday, June 5, 2025, we cordially invite you to the end of the exhibition 'Ressource, Research, Reset', which deals with the redesign of sacred spaces. At the end, a performance will bring space, sound and movement together in a special way.

Playing with movement and sound in space, the performance by Jin Lee (dance) and Alexander Gerner (saxophone) interprets the exhibition title 'Ressource, Research, Reset'. The two performers collect and explore their impressions of the space, exhibits and visitors and exchange them. This interaction creates new identities by reflecting on the originally collected resources. How do these identities shape the space? What tools contribute to the interactive transformation and redesign?

Jin Lee is a South Korean choreographer and dancer currently based in Munich. She has been working as a dancer with international choreographers since 2020. Together with Jihun Choi, she founded ZINADA, an art collective based in Seoul and Munich, in 2022. ZINADA's works were produced in Munich and are performed in various German cities and abroad.

Alexander Gerner has been involved with improvised music and cross-genre improvisation in Dresden in the Blaue Fabrik e.V. environment. From 2003 to 2007, he was also a member of the Saxon improvisation ensemble S.I.E. During this time, he also interacted with dancers in duo and quartet formations. Since fall 2024, he has been building on this experience with Jin Lee and other dancers from the Munich and Salzburg dance scenes.

We look forward to experiencing together with you how the performance opens up the dialog between space, body and sound and creates new perspectives.

A project in cooperation with the Chair of Design at TUM.

With the kind support of the Verein Ausstellungshaus für christliche Kunst e.V., Munich.
