REVONTULET

Musical light show for three saxophones and one voice

In Finland, the Northern Lights are called "Revontulet" - which translates as "fire fox". The myth says that fire foxes whirled up sparks and snowflakes with their rods, creating the magical aurora.

This story inspired a musical, lyrical and visual live performance. Three saxophones play and a voice narrates in a milky glass-like structure. The audience can experience the play of colors of the northern lights, hear icy clinking sounds and Nordic music, and listen to the story of the fire foxes.
