The Park Festival is a highlight of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 Festival in Essen and combines sport, culture and community in the unique setting of the Grugapark from July 21 to 26, 2025. In addition to exciting competitions, visitors can look forward to a varied program of live performances, hands-on activities and interactive experiences.

Look forward to hands-on sports areas where you can try out a variety of sports. On the Grugapark stage, music, art and performances will provide an inspiring cultural program that promotes inclusion and participation.

MUSICAL KICK-OFF WITH GLOCKENBACH AND ALL COLORS

The Park Festival in Grugapark will kick off on July 21 with a musical highlight: Glockenbach will open the evening, followed by Berlin star DJ Alle Farben, who will create an exuberant atmosphere with his chart hits and rousing beats.

ADVENTURE ON THE BIG SCREEN: EUROPEAN OUTDOOR FILM TOUR

On July 22, Grugapark Essen will be transformed into a special kind of open-air cinema: the renowned European Outdoor Film Tour (EOFT) will bring impressive stories of adventurers and extreme athletes to the big screen - visually gripping and emotionally moving.

INDIE MEETS ENERGY: JC ZELLER AND LEONIDEN LIVE

Indie fans will get their money's worth on July 23: DJ JC Zeller will first bring the latest club hits and throwbacks to Grugapark before the celebrated Leoniden bring the Grugapark to life with their energetic performance.

EMOTIONAL SHOW: WILHELMINE AND MICHAEL SCHULTE

July 24 is all about pop music: Wilhelmine impresses with her strong voice and honest songs. Afterwards, Michael Schulte - known for his ESC hit "You Let Me Walk Alone" - will provide goosebumps and an atmospheric finale. Ideal for the whole family.

STAGE FOR DIVERSITY: CONTAINER STAGE AS A CREATIVE HOTSPOT

Throughout the Park Festival, there will also be a Container Stage with a varied program of local newcomers, DJ sets and dance performances, as well as sports activities and numerous partner stands to try out - a lively place of creative diversity and spontaneous discoveries, all possible without prior registration.
